Microwave Sample Digestor

The Anton Paar Multiwave 3000 microwave sample digestor is a closed vessel system for rapid microwave heating. It is a very versatile system and can be used for any sample preparation task like acid leaching, acid digestion, microwave-assisted solvent extraction, evaporation (of aqueous solutions), drying, microwave-induced oxygen combustion (MIC), microwave-assisted UV digestion (MUV) and protein hydrolysis. In contrast to conventional heating, microwave heating directly heats the liquid bulk, while the surroundings (vessels) are only heated due to the hot reaction mixture they contain. The dedicated 16 Nos.of closed vessel microwave reactors provides a combination of fast and efficient heating as well as convenient and safe way to superheat solvents far above their boiling point. In addition, the reaction temperature, pressure, the applied microwave power and reaction time are displayed and recorded during the whole experiment process.
