1. Project Associate, Dept. of Chemistry, IIT Madras, (From March 2026 – Present)

◦ Working on the nanosizing of particles using water droplets.
2. Postdoctoral equivalent fellow, Dept. of Electrical Engineering, IIT Madras, (From June 2025 – December 2025)
Mentor: Dr. Ramanujam Sarathi (Professor, High Voltage Laboratory, EED, IIT Madras, Chennai, India)
◦ Studied the influence of Graphene nanoplatelets alignment on the mechanical properties of the polymer nanocomposite.
◦ Worked on Non-thermal Plasma applications viz., Methane pyrolysis and wastewater treatment.
3. Research Scholar, Dept. of Electrical Engineering, IIT Madras (From August 2021- June 2025)
PhD project: Enhanced EMI shielding efficiency in X, Ku and K bands through conductive filler integration in polymer composites.
Supervisors: Dr. Ramanujam Sarathi (Professor, High Voltage Laboratory, EED, IIT Madras, Chennai, India) and Dr. Hisayuki Suematsu (Professor, Extreme Energy-Density Research Institute, Nagaoka University of Technology, Nagaoka, Japan)
◦ Fabrication of polymer composite for the enhancement of EMI shielding effectiveness in X, Ku and K-band frequencies.
◦ Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) and a real-time test were conducted using a UHF antenna for partial discharge-induced EMI.
◦ Lightning damage resistance test on CFRP composites using 8/20 μs impulse current through plasma discharge analysis for aerospace applications.
◦ The experiments related to this interdisciplinary research were done with the High Voltage Lab, Microwave Physics Lab and Composite Science and Technology Lab of the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
4. Postgraduate Researcher, Dept. of Electrical Engineering (From December 2019 – June 2021)
M. Tech project: Design and Optimization of DBD Plasma Reactors for Non-Thermal Plasma Based Disinfection System using High Voltage Pulsed Power Source.
Guide: Dr. Sindhu T. K. (Professor, EED, NIT Calicut, Kerala, India)
◦ Non-thermal plasma (NTP) for environmental applications.
◦ Design and development of high-voltage power supply units based on Flyback converters.
◦ Electrical diagnostics of the generated NTP in DBD reactors.
◦ Sterilisation of contaminated surfaces and contaminated water with NTP.
◦ The experiments related to this interdisciplinary research were done in collaboration with the High Voltage lab, Microbiology and Bioprospecting lab of the National Institute of Technology Calicut.

◦ Worked for Basic Electrical and Engineering Electromagnetics courses and in the electrical machine laboratory
6. Workshop Instructor (January 2023 -February 2023)
◦ Organisation: Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India.
◦ Trainer to school teachers in the workshop on fundamentals of electronics. I taught how to run electronic experiments, starting from resistor circuits to the application of sensors and microcontrollers on an electronic kit.
7. Internship Trainee (May 2014 – October 2014)
◦ Organization: Southern Power Distribution Company Of Andhra Pradesh Limited (APSPDCL), Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India.
◦ Worked in the 33/11 kV substation for six months as of the DIPLOMA program.

- Handling Instruments– High Voltage testing equipment, Impulse voltage generator, Vector Network Analyzer.
- Simulation tools – MATLAB, COMSOL Multiphysics, PSpice, Molecular Dynamics.
- Software – LaTeX, MS Office, AutoCAD.
- Non-thermal plasma power source and reactor design, NTP generation, diagnostics and its environmental applications.
- Fabrication of polymer nanocomposites and their testing techniques.
Achievements:
- Received Teaching Assistant recognition award (TARA) 2025 for teaching excellence during my PhD.
- Approval of a grant proposal submitted for a project on non-thermal plasma product development for sterilisation application, funded under the Nidhi Prayaas Scheme by the Government of India (2021).
- Received HTRA fellowship during PhD and Master’s awarded by the Government of India.
