Postdoc
Dr. Mridula is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher working at the interface of Electrical Engineering and Chemistry, with a research focus on High Voltage Engineering, Advanced Dielectric Materials, and Electro-spray systems. She is presently associated with the Department of Chemistry, where she is exploring the application of high voltage in electro-spray based technique for material generation and analytical applications.
She completed her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, where her doctoral research centered on the experimental analysis and aging behavior of Power Transformer insulation under high voltage stress for its effective condition monitoring. Her work has contributed to the understanding of dielectric degradation and the development of insulation strategies for eco-friendly transformer fluids and electric power cables.
