Numeric 20 KVA Uninterrupted Power Supply System
The 20 KVA three phase on-line uninterrupted power supply(UPS) system was manufactured and supplied by Ms.Numeric UPS, Chennai which is now part of the Legrand Group. The UPS system guarantee total power continuity and quality power supply to any advanced research equipments using storage batteries. When there is any power interruption from the utility supplier, the power is automatically drawn from these storage batteries. The battery backup period is of one hour duration. The UPS system also has a built-in current/voltage spike protection and automatic voltage stabilizing system. Hence, the output power from the UPS system is a clean 230 V/ 50 Hz power supply. This system ensures fail-safe protection to mission critical equipment and enabling their superior and smooth performance. Some of our advanced research equipments like ICP-MS, Gas Chromatography and a Biological Safety cabinet are currently protected and supported by this system.
