The Keithley Model No2700 Digital Multimeter combines the function of DMM, switch system and Data acquisition system. The input module provides the flexibility to apply a stimulus to the device under test, vary the channel count from 20 to 200(2-pole), route signals, control system components and make precision measurements with up to 14 functions. Robust digital I/O capabilities can be used for triggering, handshaking with other automation equipment and alarm limit outputs. Scan rates of up to 500 channels/second (up to 3500 reading/second on a single channel) will increase test productivity. It has RS-232 and GPIB communication capabilities. The system also has LabVIEW, LabWindow/CVI, Visual Basic, C/C++ and Test Point drivers (IVI style) with ExcelINX-1A data logging software. In a research laboratory, it has wide applications for test, measure, apply stimuli and data logging of electrical signals.
